Metromusic - Music for Media and Trains
The authors and the music publisher of Metromusic are members of the German collecting society GEMA. Our works are part of the GEMA repertoire. In most cases, our music can therefore be used via the GEMA tariffs in Germany.
Customers outside of Germany license our music in our license shop. If we receive distributions from collecting societies abroad, we will refund the license fee to our customer up to the amount of the advance payment paid to us. This may happen with some delay.
How to use the Metromusic Plattform?

1. Apply for free access
2. Search in the music library – select and license
3. Customers in Germany can license via GEMA
4. To do this, send GEMA and us a usage report and license the usage according to the WR-VM tariff (We make the reporting forms and information available in the customer account)
5. Users outside of Germany can purchase a license in the license shop.
6. The license is purchased for one year per work title, per train or per train line
Easy licensing in Germany
Music for Metra and Trains
License the use of our music from GEMA via the VM-VR tariff. A title-related separate usage report must be made to GEMA and to us. Also on which lines the music is used and in what time period. (We make the reporting forms and information available in the customer account)
Simple licensing Worldwide
Customers outside of Germany license our music in our license shop. If we receive distributions from collecting societies abroad, we will refund the license fee to our customer up to the amount of the advance payment paid to us. This may happen with some delay.

- What about License Fees?German customers license through GEMA and create a music usage that we pass on to GEMA. Customers abroad pay a license fee, which is offset against distributions from the collecting societies.
- How to use Metromusic?Metromusic may only be used by commercial customers or companies. Please register for free. You can then either place an individual order or license music directly.
